I-stream cap logging
I-stream cap logging is a system function that periodically collects the status of I-stream controls, utilization of collapsed I-streams, and other system information.
The binary data that is collected is stored in I-stream cap log files in the file system of the target subsystem. An I-stream cap report is a comma-separated values (CSV) file that is generated from the aggregated binary data for a specified data range and processor with a summary of I-stream control activities. The I-stream cap report is used to determine the hardware billing of a logical partition (LPAR) with fenced I-streams under an IBM Dynamic CPU for z/TPF contract, which is an attachment to the IBM Capacity on Demand (CoD) offering. For more information about this support, contact IBM Software Support.
You can use the ZMISS command to manage I-stream cap logging.
