Usage Statistics

The Usage Statistics task provides the ability for administrators to check the status of the logged in users and send notifications before an event happens. Select and double-click the Usage Statistics task from the z/OSMF desktop. If the Usage Statistics task is not displayed on the desktop, select it from the App Center in the taskbar. The Usage Statistics panel provides the facilities to allow administrators to check a user's status from the time the server was started. This includes whether a user is currently logged on or the LTPA token expiration time. The administrator can send a notification to all of the logged on users; alerting them that an event is about to occur, allowing the user to take any necessary actions.

Administration actions

Administrators can use the Usage Statistics panel to view the status of each user since the last server startup. This information includes the user ID, current log-on status, and the LTPA2 expire time of the current logged on user.
