ITNM Network
Figure 1 shows more detail
for the ITNM network in the sample network. The ITNM network is
the IP network that is managed by IBM® Tivoli® Network Manager. The ITNM
network consists of the following resources:
- IBM Tivoli Network Manager
- Workstations T46A, T47A, T47B, T48A, and T48B
IBM Tivoli Network Manager is configured on the
A0488P31 system. Workstations T46A, T47A, T47B, T48A, and T48B
are connected to the TCP/IP network in which IBM Tivoli Network
Manager resides. IBM Tivoli Network Manager converts
selected traps related to these resources into alerts, which are then
sent to the focal point host A01MPU.
