Configuring notifications

Notifications are sent to a list of email addresses when a change is detected in the security or health status of one or more servers that WebSphere Automation monitors.

For security monitoring, email notifications are sent when a new security bulletin is published that affects your server inventory, when a newly tracked server is vulnerable to one or more existing CVEs, or when a security fix is successfully applied to a managed server. For server health monitoring, email notifications are sent when an investigation into a server health issue is started, when an investigation successfully completes, or when an investigation fails to complete. To configure the email server and the list of emails that receives notifications, you must have the Manage notifications permission. For more information about roles and permissions, see Roles and permissions.
