Configure IdPs to connect to Cloud

Use the IBM® webMethods iPaaS Add Identity Provider feature to configure identity providers that can authenticate IBM webMethods iPaaS users. IBM supports SAML 2.0.

The procedure to configure an identity provider on IBM webMethods iPaaS for IBM webMethods Cloud Container is applicable for IBM webMethods Cloud Container that use IBM webMethods iPaaS available in Frankfurt and United States (Oregon) regions.

You cannot use an external IDP user as a technical user for API authentication. Instead, use an internal user for technical API calls.

IBM webMethods iPaaS supports the following single sign-on providers:

• PingFederate
• Ping Identity
• OKTA
• Microsoft™ Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) 3.0
• Microsoft Azure
