About this task

For transitioning users: In contrast to other product offerings, individual fixes for IBM SDK, Java™ Technology Edition cannot be installed by following the instructions in this section. Rather than being packaged as interim fixes, fixes for the IBM Java SDK are packaged as fix packs with updated time stamps, so they are installed and rolled back by using the Installation Manager method described in Installing and uninstalling fix packs. For more information about the IBM Java SDK, see Installing and updating IBM SDK, Java Technology Edition on distributed operating systems.
