Carbon calculations process
The carbon calculator function runs in a circular process each time that it is triggered after changes are made that impact the calculation.
The carbon calculator function
uses the following circular process:
- Trigger the carbon footprint calculator process.
- Retrieve the locations and organizations with changes.
- Retrieve all inputs.
- Perform the calculations.
- Create the carbon log with all of the input and output data.
- Update the current period carbon footprint.
- Reset the Carbon Calculation Needed flag.
