Read and write permissions
The following table summarizes the actions you or another user can perform when you are working with documents and folders.
Task | Permission |
---|---|
View the contents of a folder (subfolders and documents) | READ access to the folder. |
View (open) a document | READ access to the document. |
Edit a document | See the permissions for "Rename a document." |
Run a report | READ access to the report definition.
Note: If
you select a destination folder for the report results, and for which
you do not have write permissions, the report results is sent to your
personal documents area.
