Setting up the KVM switch for use with the TS7650 Appliance, ProtecTIER V3.1.8

The topics in this section describe how to set up the KVM switch for use with the appliance.

Before you begin

The bulk of KVM switch configuration is performed in manufacturing. Use the following procedures to modify the generic configuration so that the KVM switch GUI accurately reflects the unique system setup at the customer site.
Note: Use the arrow keys to navigate among the options on the KVM GUI.

Procedure

Perform the following steps to set up the KVM switch.

  1. On the TSSC keyboard, press PrtSc to launch the KVM switch configuration interface.

    The Main screen displays:

  2. At the Main screen click Setup.

    The Setup screen displays:

  3. Go to Changing device names on the TS7650 Appliance, ProtecTIER V3.3.6.
