NEWLIST TYPE=ORGANIZATION shows what organizations use a COMPLEX. The record key is VER COMPLEX ORGANIZATION. By default, if no input is provided, there is one organization called "Organization" that includes all complexes.

This newlist type is intended to be used for compliance rules that require the manual assertion that an organization adheres to a certain organizational policy.

There can be more than one organization sharing a single system. All systems that share a security database can typically influence each other because they share DASD. Therefore, the assertion must be made for every organization separately per complex. If the policy is actually applied per system more so than per organization, it is better to require the assertion on object type 'system'.

The object type that is assigned by other newlist types, like COMPLIANCE, to the object of the domain type ORGANIZATION is resource class "Org".
