Editing the delivery methods

You can change the delivery method, update the pickup store, and edit or add a new shipping address for each order line.

About this task

You can edit only the Ship and Pickup order lines and you can only change the delivery method from Ship to Pickup or vice versa. You cannot change the delivery method of an order line from Ship or Pickup to Carry.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Sterling Store Engagement.
  2. To search for orders, use either of the following methods:
    • From the application menu, select Customer service to search by using the Find order portlet.
    • Click the search icon on the status bar and select the search type as Order to search for orders globally from any page.
  3. Enter or scan the order number that you want to modify. Alternatively, use Advanced search to search for the order by using the customer details. For more information about finding orders, see Finding orders.
    The Order summary page opens.
  4. Click Edit.
    Note: You cannot modify an order that is already canceled, shipped, or carried.
    The Edit order page opens.
  5. Click Edit delivery method to change the delivery methods of products in an order line.
    In the Edit delivery method window, select the corresponding tab to view the availability for each delivery method.

    If you select Ship as the delivery method, update the address.

    If you select Pick up as the delivery method, search for a store or select a nearby store that has the product available.

  6. Click Save.
    A confirmation message is displayed and the Order summary page opens.
    Note: When the delivery method of a scheduled order line is changed from Ship to Pick up or vice versa, the status of the order line changes from Scheduled to Unscheduled. The order line status is displayed as Unscheduled in the Order summary page even if you quit the Edit order page without saving.
