Putaway inventory
After receiving shipments, you must move the inventory from the receiving location to an appropriate location for future store operations. This process is called putaway.
The application automatically generates putaway tasks based on SKU dedication and inventory status after the products are received at the receiving dock of the store and the receipt is closed. You can pick products from the receiving dock and place them in the designated locations.
If a destination location is not mentioned in the putaway task or the suggested destination is full, an appropriate location can be selected to deposit the products. You can putaway products based on the putaway type. After putting away the products, you can move them from back of the store to the store-front.
