solution that is bundled with IBM® hardware and innovative IBM Storage Scale RAID technology (based on erasure
coding) that can be used to protect hardware failure instead of using data replication and offer
better storage efficiency than the local storage.
It performs fast background disk rebuilds in minutes without affecting application performance.
HDFS Transparency (2.7.0-1 and later) allows the Hadoop or Spark applications to access the data
stored in IBM Storage Scale
