Enabling IBM Call Home and IBM Storage Insights
IBM Call Home and IBM Storage Insights can be enabled at any time from the IBM Storage Ceph dashboard.
Procedure

Enable IBM Call Home in one of the following ways:
- Click Settings>IBM Call Home.
- From the banner on the Ceph dashboard, click Activate. This
banner appears once every 90 days, if not yet activated. The Configure IBM Call Home form opens.
- Fill in the Configure IBM Call Home form. Fill in the business
contact information. Important: All contact information should be the business contact information for the IBM business customer. This includes names, emails, and phone numbers.
- Click Configure Call Home. The Activated IBM Call Home Agent notification is displayed.
- Optional: Configure the connection to IBM Storage Insights.
- Enable IBM Storage Insights in one of the following ways:
- From the banner on the Ceph dashboard, click Opt-in.
This banner appears once every 90 days, if not yet enabled.
- Click Settings>IBM Storage Insights.
The Configure IBM Storage Insights form opens.
- From the banner on the Ceph dashboard, click Opt-in.
- Fill in the Configure IBM Storage Insights form. Fill in the business contact information.
- Click Opt-in.
- Enable IBM Storage Insights in one of the following ways:
- Verify the Call Home configuration from the dashboard:
- From the navigation panel, click Cluster>Manager Modules.
- Verify that call_home_agent is enabled.
