Installing and deploying industry packs on ITXA

ITX pack deployment scenario 1: Deploy all pack files from a design system or using the IBM generated pack resource bundle
This scenario is the most common approach to deploying ITX industry packs on ITXA. The IBM generated pack resource bundle (jar file) is currently only available with the Financial Pack version 10.2.1.
ITX pack deployment scenario 2: Install pack runtime components directly on server
Use this approach to industry pack deployment if you are using the ITX Pack for Supply Chain EDI only and using Sterling maps only.
ITX pack deployment scenario 3: Deploy or redeploy ITX map files from the design system
Use this approach to pack deployment if you need to deploy or redeploy ITX (WTX) maps on your ITXA system.
Creating the resource JAR file
If you want to use WebSphere® Transformation Extender validation maps, you must create a resource JAR file for each SPE pack that you want to deploy.
Start an ITXA session
Setting up a console session also sets the environment variables for that session.
