Install the App Host
There are different installation procedures depending on the App Host package and your environment.
An air gap environment is a secure network isolated from other networks, in particular, the Internet.
Determine which installation procedure applies to you. You perform only ONE installation procedure.
- You downloaded the software as a virtual appliance (ova file). See Virtual appliance.
- You downloaded the software as a virtual appliance (ova file) and intend to install it an air gap environment. See Virtual appliance in an air gap environment.
- You downloaded the software as a standalone package (run file). See Installing the App Host stand-alone software.
- You downloaded the software as a standalone package (run file) and intend to install it an air gap environment. See Standalone software in an air gap environment.
Optionally, you can create a private repository instead of using the public quay.io as the repository (default). An air gap environment requires a private repository.
