Services Control Panel

Use the Windows Services Control Panel to:

• Stop and start the service.
• Change service startup parameters.
• Check the server status.

To access and use the Services Control Panel:

1. From the Windows Start menu choose:

   Settings > Control Panel

2. Select Administrative Tools and then Services.
3. Select the service. You can now check its status, start or stop it, and edit startup parameters.

Note: You can start, stop, and check the status of the server software with the administration application. See the topic Controlling the Server for more information.
