Migrate data from one cloud repository to another cloud repository

Starting with IBM Spectrum® Protect 8.1.16, you can migrate data from one cloud repository to another. Cloud containers are only tiered from a cloud pool once the data is written to cloud, that is containers in a cloud cache do not get tiered.

Note:

There is a cost associated with the cloud-to-cloud tiering feature.
The performance is also affected because two cloud storage pools are involved in the migration process.
