Replicate data to multiple servers

IBM Spectrum® Protect 8.1.13 introduces multi-target replication, which is the process of replicating data from a source replication server to multiple target replication servers. In previous releases, you could replicate data only to a single target replication server.

By replicating data to two target replication servers, you can help to support disaster recovery and data availability if the source replication server becomes unavailable. In this case, one of the target replication servers can be converted to a source replication server. The data from the newly established source replication server can then be backed up to another target replication server to help provide uninterrupted data protection.
