Starting and stopping the web server
The web server of the Operations Center runs as a service and starts automatically. You might need to stop and start the web server, for example, to make configuration changes.
Procedure
Stop and start the web server.
From the /installation_dir/ui/utils directory, where installation_dir represents the directory where the Operations Center is installed, issue the following commands:
- To stop the server:
./stopserver.sh
- To start the server:
./startserver.sh
- To stop the server:
Issue the following commands:

service opscenter.rc stop
- To start the server:
service opscenter.rc start
- To restart the server:
service opscenter.rc restart
To determine whether the server is running, issue the following command:service opscenter.rc status
- To stop the server:
From the Services window, stop or start the Operations Center service.
