Install, upgrade, and migrate IBM Spectrum LSF

Plan your UNIX, Linux, or Microsoft Windows installation of a new production IBM® Spectrum LSF cluster. If you have an existing installation of LSF, then you can plan your upgrade of it.

To bring your cluster up to date, apply the latest Fix Pack from IBM Fix Central.

Important:

You might upload or download files to and from a central disk place to your LSF environment. For security, always run a virus scan on these files prior to introducing them to your LSF cluster environment.
Ensure that you use encrypted storage to protect your LSF configuration information.
