Upgrading the OS of an IBM Spectrum Control server

You can upgrade the server operating system where IBM Spectrum® Control version 5.4.10.2 or later is installed. This includes stopping the required services, resolving potential upgrade issues, and verify the health of your Db2 instance and IBM Spectrum Control software.

Upgrading the server operating system where IBM Spectrum Control version 5.4.10.2 or later is installed, is supported for the following scenarios only:

RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 8.9
AIX 7.2 to AIX 7.3
Windows 2016 to Windows 2019
Windows 2019 to Windows 2022
