Configuring HTTP Server in WebSphere Application Server
You must configure IBM HTTP Server from WebSphere Application Server.
Procedure
- Open a web browser.

In the address bar, type the address for the WebSphere® Admin Console.
The Admin console address is http://servername:9060/ibm/console where servername is the name or IP address for the computer where you installed WebSphere Application Server.
- Enter the User ID and Password, and click Log in.
- Expand System administration, and click
Nodes.
- Click Add node.
- Select Unmanaged node, and click Next.
- Enter a name for the node, the name of the server on which the web server is installed, and select the operating system for that server. Click Next, and then click Save.
- Expand Servers > Server
types, and click Web servers.
- Click New.
- Select the node, enter a name for the web server node, select IBM HTTP Server, and click Next.
- Select IHS for the template, and click Next.
- Enter the information for the server, and click Next. Ensure that you use 443 for the port number.
- Click Finish.
- Click Save.
- Select the server, and click Generate Plug-in.
- Select the server, and click Propogate Plug-in.
