Custom schema support for applications
You can use an application profile to add attributes that are specific to your company that are set when you add application accounts for your users.
These tasks are applicable only for the applications that support application profile customization, account lifecycle operations, and directory synchronization.
- Custom application profile can be created by creating application profile attributes in Verify and adding them to a custom application profile. These application profiles are then used during application onboarding. See IBM Security Verify custom application profile.
- Add an application profile directly from application onboarding that adds the application attributes inline.
The profile attributes added to an application profile are available to be mapped during account provisioning and reconciliation. These application profile attributes are mapped to user profile attributes to set the associated values from the user profile on the user account on target application. Just like mapping of default account attributes, mapping custom application profile attributes can also use in-built transformation or custom rules.
