Quick Start Guide

This guide will help you install IBM Tivoli Directory Server.


National Language Version: To obtain the Quick Start Guide in another language, find the file for your language in the quickstart directory. (The files are named tds63_qsg_LL.idd and tds63_qsg_LL.htm, where LL is an abbreviation for the language.)

IBM Tivoli Directory Server Product Overview

IBM® Tivoli® Directory Server is the IBM implementation of the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) for supported Windows®, AIX®, Linux®, Solaris, and HP-UX (Itanium®) operating systems. IBM Tivoli Directory Server provides a server that stores directory information using a DB2® database, a proxy server for routing LDAP operations to other servers, a client, a graphical user interface (GUI) for managing servers, and a GUI for managing users.
