Getting started

To get your organization onboarded to Transparent Supply, first register your users, products, and facilities (locations). These initial steps enable your users to start uploading supply chain data, such as events and transactions, and sharing them with your selected supply chain partners, creating end-to-end supply chain product views.

Onboarding overview

Successful onboarding to Transparent Supply means that registered users in your organization uploaded your supply chain data, including products, facilities (locations), events, and transactions, and shared them with your selected Business Partners.

Before you start uploading data, your onboarding team must understand the following Transparent Supply information:

  1. Data requirements
  2. Data types
  3. Data access control

Onboarding procedure

To onboard your users and data to Transparent Supply, use the following general procedure:

  1. Add users. Each user must have a registered IBMid.
  2. Register your products (items).
  3. Register your facilities (locations).
  4. Upload your event and transaction data.
  5. Link documents to your facilities and products.
