Users and groups working in restricted mode can perform at most four operations:
An example of a restricted user group is beta site customers who can only enter defects, find defects, and run a restricted query.
Users operating in restricted mode do not consume a license. Active users of Rational ClearQuest Web are placed in restricted mode when their licenses expire or when they cannot obtain a license.
Restricted user and group access is configured by someone with the Super User privilege on the Security Options page of the Site Configuration page.
Someone with the Super User privilege can be identified as a restricted user. However, when operating in restricted mode, this person still has access to Site Configuration.
