Repository administrators manage and configure the repository
for use. Repository administrators have authority to perform any activity
with the Rational® Asset Manager web
application. You can assign repository administrator permissions to
any number of users.
Before you begin
To assign other repository administrators, you must be
a repository administrator.
About this task
Note that repository administrators are not the same as
community administrators. A community administrator can only administer
a community.
Procedure
- Log in to the Rational Asset Manager web
application.
- Click Administration.
- Click Repository Administrators from
the sidebar.
- Click Add Administrator.
- To search for a user that you want to add as a repository
administrator, in the Add a Repository Administrator window, type
the name of a specific user and click Search. You can search for users within either the external registry
or the list users that are registered with Rational Asset Manager,
depending on whether an external registry is configured.
- Select the check boxes next to the users you want to designate
as repository administrators, and click Add.
