Data flow diagram
A data flow diagram shows the flow of data through a program, given a starting data element. Each node in the graph represents a data element, DB2® column, DB2 table, or literal.
In addition to studying the structure of the relationships,
you can do the following tasks from this page:
- Use the Graph actions, Zoom in, Zoom out, Zoom all (maximum zoom out), to size the graph.
- Move your pointer over a node to see an expansion of the type and the name of the asset.
- Click a node to view the details for that asset. For example, click a literal node to get the literal details. The details page overlays the diagram. Click the browser back button to return to the diagram.
You can access the data flow diagram from the "Data element details" page. The diagram opens in a new window.
