Digital Asset Management (DAM) is a process, which can be used to upload, organize, store, and retrieve digital media according to the organizational need.

The digital media is called as assets in the Persona-based UI. DAM provides access to the assets anytime and anywhere. This ensures a faster turnaround time, speed, consistency, and control to the assets.

The DAM Persona provides following useful features:
  • Uploading digital assets
  • Linking digital assets and items
  • Transforming uploaded digital assets
  • Generating renditions of the uploaded digital assets
  • Migrating digital assets

Digital assets can be uploaded from either an FTP location or from your computer. You can opt for bulk upload and upload multiple digital assets. A digital asset can be linked or unlinked with multiple items and eliminates duplication.

A DAM user has Digital Assets Manager role. A user with Merchandise Manager role can link and unlinked the digital assets to the items and perform various transformations on the digital assets.

All assets tab lists all the digital assets that are uploaded to the Digital Assets Manager. While Uncategorized assets tab lists all the digital assets present under unassigned category.

You can select a digital asset, and perform following tasks in the Digital Assets Management page.
