Use this procedure to repair a service processor assembly and time-of-day battery.
Note whether the control panel needs to be moved. The control panel needs to be moved if it is on the same side as the service processor assembly that is being repaired. |

Remove the control panel from the top drawer by pressing the locking tabs (A) on both sides of the panel, grasping the edges of the panel, and pulling it out of its bay (B). Attention: A control panel or control panel filler must be in place when the system is on for proper air flow and cooling. |

Remove the time-of-day battery (A) from its slot as shown. |
If a time-of-day battery (A) is not present, install one in the new service processor assembly. |

If you removed the power cords, reinstall the power cords for all of the processor enclosures. Install the cords in the following order:
