Pin items

When you create a useful view, visualization, selector, image, video, or other item, you can pin the item for use in other books or websheets. The pinned items are added to the Pins tab.

You can pin items in the edit mode or the consumption mode if pinning is enabled for this mode. To enable pinning for the consumption mode, use the book property Allow pinning in consumption. For more information, see Enable pinning in consumption mode.

To retrieve an item from Pins, you must be in the Edit mode.

Procedure

  1. In a book or view, click anywhere on the item that you want to pin, and click the pin button Pin icon in the toolbar.
