Draft orders are orders that are in the process of being entered, but are not
confirmed.
You can confirm draft orders or place orders on hold in Order Hub but you cannot
create orders. Create orders by using the Distributed Order Management module. For more information,
see Distributed Order Management.
Procedure
-
Log in to Order Hub.
-
Click Orders from the menu and search for the order that you need to
modify.
-
Search for draft orders.
To simplify your search, you can set the Draft option to Show
drafts only so that the search results returns draft orders only. Alternatively, if you
leave the field blank, the search results returns all orders.
-
Select the checkbox next to an order and click Confirm order or
Place order hold.
Alternatively, you can click the
Order number to view the order details.
Within the details page, you can select
Actions to display the options.
- Confirm order changes the order status from Draft order
created to Created. You can only confirm draft orders with at
least one order line.
- Place order hold places the order on hold. When you hold the order, you
need to specify a hold type. A hold type prevents an order from being processed by transactions that
are associated with that hold type. When the hold issue is resolved, you can resolve the order hold so that the order can be
processed.
