Viewing the CICSplex Rules and Agent Preferences panel

You can use the CICSplex Rules and Agent Preferences panel to add or delete CICSplex classification rules and add preferences for a CICSPlex® agent. You normally access the CICSplex Rules and Agent Preferences panel from the CICSplex Regions Summary panel.

The CICSplex Rules and Agent Preferences panel includes three subpanels:

• The Default CICSplex Processing subpanel is used to define which CICSplex a CICS region will be reported against.
• The Rule Definitions for All CICSPlexes subpanel displays all the classification rules that OMEGAMON AI for CICS currently uses to group CICS® regions into CICSplexes. The rules are listed in descending priority order with the default OMEGPLEX rule definition displayed as the last row in the panel.
• The Preferences For All CICSplex Agents subpanel contains the values that you specify to control which OMEGAMON AI for CICS agent will monitor a CICSplex, and it enables all history information for a CICSplex to be available at one agent.

These three subpanels are shipped with the default OMEGPLEX CICSplex definition and the *DFLT preference provided. You can modify these defaults, but you cannot delete them.
