KN3 RNIC Status Attributes

Use the KN3 RNIC Status attributes for data associated with a RDMA Network Interface Card (RNIC) interface, which can be used for Shared Memory Communications over Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA), or Shared Memory Communications over RDMA (SMC-R).

Associated RNIC An associated RNIC can be used for SMC-R links. If Yes, this interface is associated with those active interfaces that are enabled for SMC-R, defined by an INTERFACE statement as OSD, and defined with the same physical network ID.

Bytes Received The number of bytes received on this interface during the most recent time interval. The format is a long long integer.

Bytes Sent The number of bytes sent on this interface during the most recent time interval. The format is a long long integer.

Bytes Sent or Received The number of bytes sent or received on this interface during the most recent time interval. A valid value is a long long integer.

CHPID The physical Channel ID value. The value is stored as an integer and displayed as a hexadecimal number.

Collection Time The time and date at which status information was collected.

GID The identifier for this RNIC. The value is an IPv6 link-local address derived from the VMAC address of the 10GbE RoCE Express interface. The value is blank for an interface that is not active.

Inbound Operations The number of inbound operations on this interface during the most recent time interval. The format is a long long integer.

Interface Index The interface index.The format is an integer.

Interface Name The interface name. The format is a string of not more than 16 characters.

0 = <blank>
1 = Active
2 = Not Active

Last Interface Status Change The time and date of the last interface status change. The format is a date/time value of 16 characters.

LPAR Name The name of the LPAR from which this data was retrieved. The format is a string of no more than 8 characters.

MAC Address The MAC address. The format is a string of not more than 17 characters.

Maintenance Level The maintenance level of the RNIC. The format is a string of not more than 17 characters. This is presented as "<major version>.<minor version>.<sub-minor version>".

Multi IP RNIC Indicates whether or not the RNIC is associated with multiple IP addresses. 0=No, 1= Yes.

Origin Node Unique identifier for the TCP/IP stack being displayed.

Outbound Operations The number of outbound operations on this interface during the most recent time interval. The format is a long long integer.

PCI Express Function ID The PCI Express Function ID value for the IBM 10GbE RoCE Express feature represented by this RNIC. The format is an integer.

Physical network ID The physical network ID. The format is a string of not more than 16 characters.

Receive Byte Rate The number of bytes received on this interface per minute during the most recent time interval. The format is a long long integer.

RMB Storage In Use The total amount of current Remote Memory Buffer (RMB) storage (in KB) in use by the TCP connections associated with this interface. The format is an unsigned integer.

RNIC Line Speed The line speed, in millions of bits. A valid value is an integer.

SMC-R Links The current number of SMC-R links across this interface. The format is an unsigned integer.

SMC-R Port Port used on the associated IBM 10GbE RoCE Express feature. The format is an integer.

SMC-R Version The version of SMC-R capabilities enabled.

SMC-Rv2 IP Address The SMC-Rv2 IP Address. Multiple indicates the RNIC is associated with multiple IP addresses.

SMC-Rv2 MTU The SMC-Rv2 PFID MTU.

Sysplex Name The name of the sysplex that the monitored system is part of. The format is a text string no longer than 8 characters.

System ID The SMF system ID. The format is a text string no longer than 4 characters.

TCP Conn The current number of TCP connections using this interface. The format is an unsigned integer.

TCPIP STC Name The jobname of the TCP/IP address space.

Tot Bytes The total number of bytes sent or received on this interface since this interface was activated. The format is a long long integer.

Tot Bytes Received The total number of bytes received on this interface since this interface was activated. The format is a long long integer.

Tot Bytes Sent The total number of bytes sent on this interface since this interface was activated. The format is a long long integer.

Tot Inbound Operations The number of inbound operations on this interface since this interface was activated. The format is a long long integer.

Tot Outbound Operations The number of outbound operations on this interface since this interface was activated. The format is a long long integer.

Transmit Byte Rate The number of bytes sent on this interface per minute during the most recent time interval. The format is a long long integer.

TRLE Name The TRLE name. The format is a string of not more than 16 characters.
