New product features and functions in version 1.6.11

New features in version 1.6.11
The following features and functions are available in the Netcool Operations Insight 1.6.11 product:
Human-in-the-loop probable cause analysis

Event Manager groups events under the same synthetic parent. If topological correlation is enabled, Event Manager can provide a probable cause value based on the topological correlation. In most cases, this probable cause value is able to correctly determine the event most likely to be the probable root cause of an cause of the alert. However, in some cases, the probable cause may require human intervention to assign a assign specific value to an event so that the SME can work on the event efficiently and quickly. In other cases, you may want to give weights to prioritize one event over an other. For more information, see Configuring human-in-the-loop probable cause analysis.

Ability to persist changes to the omni.dat file
You can update the omni.dat file by using the configmaps for primary and backup clusters. Updates are persisted between pod restarts. For more information, see Configuring the omni.dat file.
Topology updates
Several topology updates are included with Netcool Operations Insight. For more information, see the What's new in Version 1.1.20 external icon topic in the IBM® Agile Service Manager documentation.
