Windows driver managers

Microsoft provides a driver manager for the Windows environment.

The ODBC driver manager is part of the Microsoft Data Access Component (MDAC) and, as such, is part of the Windows operating system. Therefore, you do not have to install a driver manager in the Windows environment to use the ODBC drivers.
