Installing and uninstalling the client tools software

The client tools software of the Netezza Performance Server system contains the ODBC drivers, the JDBC drivers, the OLE DB provider, the .NET Provider, and Go Driver that connect to a Netezza Performance Server system from a client system.

The first step in preparing a system is to install the Netezza Performance Server system client tools software on your system. If the client tools software is installed, skip this section. After you install the client tools software, you can install the ODBC drivers, the JDBC drivers, the OLE DB provider, the .NET Provider, or Go Driver.
