Planning and preparing to deploy
To prepare for deployment, you must complete several tasks, such as configuring the
database for IBM® Maximo® Health . If you are
deploying in multiple languages, review the support languages that are available. If you are deploying Maximo Health as part of
Maximo Manage , complete the steps for
Maximo Manage .
System requirements Maximo Application Suite , your environment must meet all of the hardware and software requirements for Maximo Health and Maximo Application Suite . Configuring an internal image repository Setting up your database Language support Maximo Health is available in a number of languages. You can specify languages when you activate the application.Server bundle overview A server bundle isolates the workload processes so that they can be independently managed. Customizing Maximo Health , such as customized Java™ classes or database scripts, you can copy them to a customization archive. Then, you can apply the customizations to server bundles when you deploy Maximo Health . This feature is useful for moving customizations from a test to a production environment and for upgrades. Provisioning storage Maximo Health supports both ephemeral storage and persistent storage. Backing up and restoring Maximo Health Storing images in an external registry Maximo Health is deployed or updated, the build process generates an administrative image and a server bundle image for each bundle type. Bundle types are specified in the custom resource for the workspace. Images are stored in an internal registry. In some cases, you might want to store the build images in an external repository. For example, you might want to run security scans on images that have customizations, or you might want to test builds independently before you deploy the application in Maximo Application Suite .
