Configuring Maximo for Nuclear Power
After installing IBM® Maximo® for Nuclear Power, you must complete system configuration tasks.
- Configurable options in Maximo for Nuclear Power
Some of the business processes that are modeled in Maximo for Nuclear Power include configurable options. You can modify these processes to suit your needs by configuring the options that are available in the Organizations (Nuc) application. - Configuring the user interface options in the Clearances application for new security groups
The Clearances application has a user interface that simplifies user interactions during the execution of clearance activities. The actions make it easier to promote a clearance record through the stages of its lifecycle. - Configuring workflows in Maximo for Nuclear Power
Maximo for Nuclear Power includes a number of predefined workflows and key performance indicators (KPIs) that support standard nuclear processes. The workflows are used to direct process performance, and KPIs display the effectiveness of the process. Before you use the workflows and KPIs, you must complete the required configuration tasks. - Database tables and columns
IBM Maximo for Nuclear Power has database tables that are specific to Maximo for Nuclear Power. It also adds industry-specific columns to the Maximo Asset Management database tables. - Hiding the Lock Out / Tag Out application
The Lock Out / Tag Out application of Maximo Asset Management is not compatible with the Clearances application of Maximo for Nuclear Power. You can either hide the Lock Out / Tag Out application or leave it as is.
