Planning and scheduling maintenance activities for aircraft or equipment can be complex, because often the aircraft or equipment that requires maintenance is not in the correct location at the correct time. Maintenance location planning involves managing and scheduling assignments, crews, and materials at MRO locations.

Planning maintenance costs includes forecasting costs by using the scheduler features and planning and monitoring budgets in the Budget Monitoring application.

Configuring task cards and master task cards
Task cards contain detailed information for scheduled maintenance work on aircraft or pieces of equipment. When tasks become due, work orders are generated. Warnings are generated when task cards meet or exceed their warning limit, which prevents the task cards from becoming overdue.

Managing maintenance work involves configuring job cards, work packages, and work orders to provide the detailed information that is required to perform maintenance.
