Labeling an object in a video

Use labels to add tags to objects in videos.

Procedure

  1. Open the relevant data set and select the relevant video.
  2. Click Label Objects.
  3. Manually capture frames.
    1. Click the video to start playing.
    2. Click the pause icon to stop on a frame and then click Capture frame. Captured frames are displayed in the carousel.
  4. To automatically capture frames, click Auto capture and then enter the number of seconds for the interval between each frame. Captured frames are displayed in the carousel.
  5. Select a frame from the carousel and then in the Objects panel, select the relevant object name.
    Tip: Use the status bar to find the frame that you want.
  6. Use the drawing tools to draw a box or polygon around the relevant object. Each labeled object is added to the list in the Objects panel.
  7. Optional: To view objects of the same type in a frame, in the Objects panel, select the object name and then click the actions menu.
    Note: Identified objects of the same type are displayed in the selected video only.
  8. Click the Label settings icon to change the label settings.
