Upgrade of Cloud Pak for Data requires retraining for some models of Maximo Predict
After Cloud Pak for Data is upgraded to version 4.8, the trained models for Maximo® Predict no longer work correctly.
Deploying Cloud Pak for Data version 4.8 might cause some trained models for
Maximo Predict to work unexpectedly. Retrain the models that do not work as
expected. The following table lists the application versions that automatically upgrade Cloud Pak for Data to the version 4.8.

Before you upgrade Cloud Pak for Data to version 4.8, you must plan to retrain the models with new notebooks and pmlib library. Also, you must upgrade to the latest fix pack of the Maximo Monitor because the latest Maximo Monitor runtime must be synchronized with the Cloud Pak for Data runtime.
After you upgrade Cloud Pak for Data to version 4.8, configure your custom notebooks to use Runtime 23.1 on Python 3.10.
