Maximo® Asset Management 7.6.1.3 includes fixes, enhancements, and new features for Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.

Functional fixes

This fix pack includes fixes for over 1100 APARs.

Migration Manager APIs

You can automate the Maximo Asset Management configuration migration pipeline by using a new REST API interface for Migration Manager. You can use an external tool or command line to initiate source and target transfer that use passkeys for authentication.

Integration enhancements

Export batched or paged data by using the export capability of an integrated external system application. This enhancement improves performance by enabling memory demands to be shared across systems.

Filter table data in the Object Structures, External Systems, and Web Services Library applications.

Customize HTTP, SOAP, and JMS endpoints by using automation scripting. You can process request and response headers from these endpoints.

You can use enhanced Kafka handler endpoints that are used to access more authentication schemes.

OAUTH

Improvements were added for HTTP and SOAP endpoints. You can use OAUTH for outbound authentication for HTTP and SOAP endpoints.

Roll up maintenance costs

In the Assets application, you can use the Roll Up Maintenance Costs action to roll up maintenance costs for assets. This action is an alternative to running a Maintenance Cost Rollup Report to roll up maintenance costs for your assets. For more information, see Rolling up maintenance costs and Roll up maintenance costs before you upgrade to Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 or Maximo Manage 8.3 or later.

Maximo Mobile updates

If your Maximo Application Suite entitlement includes use of Maximo Mobile with Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.2+, you can access new fixes and capabilities for Maximo Mobile. The Maximo Mobile Inventory Counting application and the Maximo Asset Management Count Books setup application are installed. For more information, see Count Books application.

If you deploy Maximo Mobile on Maximo Application Suite 8.8 before you apply the Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 feature pack, you must enable new inventory counting functions. For more information, review the Maximo Mobile readme file, which you can download from Passport Advantage.

Upgrade to Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) 4.8

Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 uses BIRT 4.8.0. To design your reports, use version 4.8 of the report designer tools for BIRT. For more information, see Configure Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) 4.8 for IBM Maximo Manage 8.3.
