Enrolling your Windows 10+ Home device (MDM)
Follow these steps to enroll your Windows 10+ Home device in MDM mode.
Prerequisites
- For new and existing MaaS360® Portal accounts, make
sure that the Laptop and Desktop Management service is enabled in the MaaS360 Portal at
.
- Administrators: Before you send out enrollment requests to users, make sure that you first set up enrollment settings for the Windows 10+ Home setup page at Branding settings for Windows devices and follow the procedure in Configuring the Windows 10+ Bulk Provisioning Tool configuration wizard to create a bulk provisioning tool executable to generate the SelfExtractingOA.exe file.
To enroll your Windows 10+ Home device from a Microsoft
Edge browser, follow these steps:
- Open Microsoft Edge (you must use Edge, not Internet
Explorer) and navigate to the MaaS360 enrollment request
URL (https://m.dm/corporateID or
https://m.dm/coporateID/random###) or download the QR code for enrollment URL.
The following screen is displayed:
- Click on the Windows 10+ Home button. (If you are not sure what type of Windows device that you are enrolling, click Find out your device's Windows edition to view steps on how to determine the type of Windows device that you are enrolling.)
- Accept the MaaS360 Terms and Conditions, the organizational EULA, and the Corporate Usage Policy
(if configured by the administrator).
The Enroll device screen is displayed:
- Click on the Windows 10+ Home setup button.
- Run the executable in administrator mode to complete the enrollment on the device.
