Time Server

Use the Time Server settings to set the time and time zone on macOS devices.

The following table describes the Time Server settings:
Policy setting Description
Time server The name of the Network Time Protocol (NTP) server that is used to set the time on macOS devices. For example, time.euro.apple.com.

This setting is supported on macOS 10.12.4+ devices.

Time zone The time zone of the country that you want to use on macOS devices. You can use a string in the path for the time zone location: path location string in /usr/share/zoneinfo/. For example, America/Denver, Zulu.
