The App Lock settings manage the functions of an app that is locked down on a supervised device.
Common native app IDs
The administrator can lock any app on the device, including native apps such as phone or email. The following lists the most common native app IDs:

App lock settings
The following table describes the settings that the administrator can configure for a locked app
on a supervised iOS device:

Allow volume button control | The user can control the volume setting on the device. If this setting is disabled, the volume level remains at the same level that was last used before the setting was disabled. | iOS 7.0+ |
Allow ringer switch control | The user can control the ringer setting for the device. If this setting is disabled, the ringer setting remains at the same setting that was last used before the setting was disabled. | iOS 7.0+ |
Allow Sleep/Wake button control | The user can control the Sleep/Wake button on the device. | iOS 7.0+ |
Allow Auto Lock | The user can automatically lock the device after a certain amount of time. | iOS 7.0+ |
