After regenerating the recovery key, you can use the FileVault Recovery Key action to retrieve the recovery key. For more information, see FileVault disk encryption macOS 10.13+
Restart Device Restarts the device.
  • Notify User: If true, notifies the user to restart the device at their preferred time. A forced restart will only occur if the device is at the login window with no logged-in users. The user can dismiss the notification and ignore the request. No further notifications are displayed unless administrators resend the command.
  • Request Requires Network Tether: If true, the device must be network-tethered to run the command.
Note: When you remotely restart devices, the passcode-locked devices do not rejoin the Wi-Fi network after restarting, so those devices may not be able to communicate with the server.
macOS 10.13+
Shutdown Device Shuts down the device.
Note:
  • When you remotely power off devices, the passcode-locked devices do not rejoin the Wi-Fi network after restarting, so those devices may not be able to communicate with the server.
  • The device shuts down immediately without displaying a warning to the end user.
