IBM® Tivoli® Composite Application Manager (ITCAM) for Application Diagnostics enables IT operations and administrators to assure the availability and performance of critical business applications and services by comprehensively monitoring the health and performance of the underlying server resources. ITCAM for Application Diagnostics proactively alerts administrators of health and performance problems, provides real-time metrics for problem diagnosis, and collects historical metrics for reporting and capacity trending. The application includes three agents, one each for WebSphere®, J2EE, and HTTP Servers. For deep-dive diagnostics, ITCAM for Application Diagnostics provides a web-based diagnostic view through the Managing Sever that can be "launched in context" from the Tivoli Enterprise Portal for analyzing problems with application servers and applications.
