Launching standard operating procedures

You can manually launch an instance of a standard operating procedure in the standard operating procedures configuration tool.

About this task

When you launch a standard operating procedure, the most recently approved version is launched.

1. In the navigation menu, click Administration > Configuration Tools > Standard Operating Procedures > SOP Definition.
2. Click the name of the standard operating procedure definition for which you want to launch an instance.
3. From the Definition Actions drop-down list, select Launch. A message is displayed that confirms that an instance of the standard operating procedure has been created.
